The Houston ottoman storage bed frame represents the strongest ottoman from our range. The base also has 2 central supporting bars to remove the need for a centre leg and therefore create more space for all important storage. Once you have invested in your new product we feel it is important to give you advice to help it last for years to come.

When opening and closing your ottoman storage bed, please use even pressure from the centre to avoid damaging the mechanisms. However, should you encounter a problem we are able to supply replacement parts.

Frame style ottomans usually have a hand strap to assist you to open and close the bed gently and safely.

Bolts can work loose, particularly on metal parts. We suggest you check they are tightened regularly.

Slats can break when too much weight is placed on one small area. For example, the most common reasons are kneeling on the bed, sitting on the edge of the bed close to the side rails or children jumping on the bed.

If you do have a broken slat, it is important to deal with it quickly to avoid further slats breaking due to the stability being compromised.
